345th Reunion - St. Louis, MO
September 2-4, 2011

Vic Tatelman and Rene' Palmer Armstrong in front of the B-25J "Show Me" Mitchell bomber. Mr. Tatelman was a member of the 345th and was the co-pilot of "Betty's Dream," one of two B-25s chosen to escort the two Japanese Betty Bombers containing the Japanese peace emissaries to Ie Shima at the end of WWII.
When seeing the historic film footage, look for the two B-25s as they flew beside the white Japanese planes with the green crosses.

Rene' being interviewed after her maiden flight in a B-25J Mitchell. Needless to say, she was all smiles!
B-25 Betty's Dream

This picture of a B-25 named Betty's Dream and was taken by photographer Lloyd Sullivan on October 16, 2011 at the Wings Over Houston air show. Betty's Dream is painted like the plane that Vic Tatleman flew on that historic mission mentioned above.

Looks like she is still "Lost in the '40s!"
